Jaroslav Marek graduated from Brno Conservatory and Janacek Academy of Performing Arts in Brno (both with Prof.
A. Dolezal). He has been awarded as a youngest finalist of the Prague Spring International
Competitions in Prague in 1981. Furthermore he studied with Giuseppe Garbarini in Siena. Since the year
1988, he is a Solo Clarinet player of the Prague Symphony Orchestra and member of Mozart Wind Trio
and Krommer Quartet.
