The FILMharmonic Orchestra, Prague belongs to the one of the most sought after recording orchestras in Europe. Forming our symphony orchestra has been a natural step in the further development in our services. We are proud to share with our partners all benefits of our extensive experience in music ranging from chamber ensembles and á capella choir to symphonic orchestra on both concerts and recordings and offer an unique chance of both their section cooperation and solo performances with our typical string color, the rich and velvety sound of woods and also clear and robust brass expression.. It is particularly a very typical sound of leading members from Czech foremost orchestras (Czech Philharmonic, Prague Symphony) attracting artists from all over the world to come and work in Prague.
We have been recording with such singers as Christina Perri, Natascha Atlas, Sarah Brightman, Celine Dion, Owen Pallett, Chris Rea, Lesley Garrett, Dionne Warwick, the Irish Tenors, award winning composers Nathan Barr, Jeff Beal, Terence Blanchard, Andy Brick, Normand Corbeil, Alexandre Desplat, Lee Holdridge, Mark Isham, Laura Karpman, Jeff Rona, Christopher Young and producers as George Lucas, Ridley Scott, Quentin Tarantino or directors - Christian Barratier, Christian Duguay, Jodie Foster, Vaclav Havel, Werner Herzog, Robert Redford but also bands - Arcade Fire, Helloween, Blind Guardian, the Streets, Rumble Strips, Septic Flesh, ETHS, Ourobouros... The orchestra performed four times at the Opening Ceremony Concerts of the Games Convention in Leipzig and has recorded symphonic scores to dozens of computer games such as Brothers in Arms Trilogy, Halo Wars, Splinter Cell, Warhammer, Everquest 2, Too Human, Civilization 5, Age of Empires III, DISSISIA 012, ANNO 2070, Darkness II, Kinect Rush, Elder Scrolls Online...
